As
an artist-printmaker for more than twenty-five years, Marjorie Tomchuk has
won numerous awards and gained international recognition with her art. In
the past ten years the artist's work has evolved into a dramatically free
style combining innovation, imagination and superb technical skill. All
this individual creativity is expressed in her unique pieces and multiples
rendered on distinctive artist-made papers. Born in Canada and educated in
the United States, Japan and Europe, Ms. Tomchuk has traveled the world
extensively gathering impressions for use in her art. Her limited edition
prints are all created in her studio in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Studies at the University of Michigan (MA); Pratt Graphics Center, New
York City; Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan; as well as studies in Germany
were followed by years of development at her studios in New York City and
in Connecticut. The results of this work are displayed in many museums
